DESCRIPTION:There will be a “party” with people…finally!! \nIt’s time to gather and celebrate at “The Party” !! We are all so excited and grateful to have survived all the challenges of the pandemic & the last 2+ years! On behalf of Bethanys Hope Foundation it gives me immense pleasure to invite you and your Team to join us this Fall on Friday\, October 28th at the distinguished London Hunt and Country Club\, as our Foundation presents a premiere culinary fundraising Gala appropriately named\, “The Party” !! \nThis amazing evening will include a cocktail hour featuring a traditional PEI Oyster Bar hosted by our friend\, Chef Michael Smith from the Inn at Bay Fortune\, a spectacular seasonal dinner\, Silent & Live Auctions hosted by the multi-talented Layne “The Auctionista” ! The evening will also include musical performances by the very talented Mr. Paul Zubot & Friends …. who promise to get us and the Hunt Club rock’in! \nThanks to so many in this generous community we have completed over 27 years of uninterrupted cutting edge Research for Leukodystrophy (MLD)…at London’s own Children’s Health Research Institute… but we have more work! This is both an exciting and daunting time as we collectively begin the final push to fully fund a Clinical Trial under the supervision of Health Canada! All revenue generated from “The Party” will support the families-children of MLD as well as the Clinical Trial\, conducted through “Bethanys Hope Leukodystrophy Laboratory\, under the direction of Dr. Tony Rupar – Lawson Health Research Institute. \nFor more information please call 519.542-7589 and speak with Lindey McIntyre \, Gala Chair/Executive Director. \n
