DESCRIPTION:SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW \nCharity Gala & Celebration! \n       \n A night of Hope…! \nWhat a great way to kick off a New Year…..to gather and celebrate on Saturday\, February 28th\, 2026 when our Foundation will present a premiere culinary fundraising Gala –“SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW”  at the very distinguished London Hunt and Country Club!   \nYour experience will include our fabulous cocktail hour with the Hunt Club’s amazing canapé offerings\, a spectacular seasonal dinner created by their Executive Chef Michael Stark as well as Silent & Live Auctions.  We are sure to get the Hunt Club rock’in once again with musical performances throughout the evening by the very accomplished Mr. Paul Zubot with “The Journeymen of Soul” and vocalist Shelly Faris! \nThanks to so many in this generous community we have completed over 29 years of uninterrupted cutting edge Research for Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD)…at London’s own Children’s Health Research Institute… but we have more work! This is both an exciting and daunting time as we collectively begin the final push to find a treatment … a fully funded Clinical Trial thru Health Canada!  We can get there with your help\, funds raised from “SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW” will support “Bethanys Hope Leukodystrophy Research Laboratory” here in London under the direction of Dr. Stephanie Newman of Western University.  \n We sincerely hope you will join our many friends at “SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW – Charity Gala to help us make a difference!  We have reduced the seats this year to make more room for the Party!!
