Rembrandt Homes together with Bethanys Hope Foundation presented a“Coast to Coast” premiere Charity Dinner on Thursday, April 27th, 2017 at the beautiful London Convention Centre. Food Network Star, Canada’s best known chef and our long-time friend, Chef Michael Smith hosted this extraordinary culinary event. Along with five top chefs from across Canada, we celebrated Canada’s 150 with a culinary adventure exploring the field to fork movement.

The adventure began with our fabulous cocktail hour with 5 exciting appetizer “live-action” Stations hosted by our talented Chefs, including the always popular P.E.I. Oyster Bar with Chef Michael. Dinner followed with a spectacular six course presentation, featuring each Chefs signature flavours from across Canada.

Guests tapped their toes to the always fabulous Sheridan Band, and were enamored with Layne, our Auctionista who raised a record amount of Research dollars with Fund-a-Need and the Live Auction!

We are extremely grateful for the support of this generous community. This is very exciting time for Bethanys Hope Foundation as we begin our dash to the finish line. A Clinical Trial is on the horizon and we are finally finding the answers to treat Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD)! Due to the support of folks like you, we are collectively on the verge of finally ending this nightmare for the children and families of MLD! Funds raised from our “Coast to Coast” Charity Dinner go directly to our Clinical Trial, conducted through “Bethanys Hope Leukodystrophy Research Laboratory” under the direction of Dr. Tony Rupar of Western University.

Gratefully,

Lindey L. McIntyre,
Executive Director
