Somewhere Over The Rainbow”  Charity Gala & Celebration

Thank You All!

On behalf of all the members of Bethanys Hope Foundation I would like to recognize and thank all the participants for their very generous support of our annual Charity Dinner! Grateful to be “together again” with over 200 incredible Friends/Guests to celebrate, at the beautiful London Hunt & Country Club on Saturday, February 28th. Combined with these generous folks, this celebration with our amazing MC’s, Devon Peacock from 980 CFPL and Toni Ross from Fresh 103.1, the awesome music of the very accomplished Paul Zubot with “The Journeymen of Soul” and vocalist Shelly Faris! and the creations of Executive Chef from the London Hunt Club, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” was truly “another incredible night” for our Foundation!!

We are sending a very BIG Thank-You to all those that Sponsored, Donated, Volunteered and supported our 2026 Charity Gala. A very special thank you to our very generous Presenting Sponsors, Tony Marsman and the Team from Rembrandt Homes and Crystal Volpe, President of C & V Income Tax Services. We are very grateful for our wonderful long time friends and Gold Sponsors from Ford Keast, Melchers Construction, ONX Enterprise Solutions and Oxford Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. Our generous Silver Sponsors included, Rival Office Solutions and our friends at the at Artcal / AT Print Corp.. Other special evening Sponsors joined us from Gordon’s Gold Jewellers, Brouwer Plumbing, Auburn Group (London), Tiger Jack’s Bar & Grill and the London Police Association just to mention a few!!!

Thanks to this community and the compassion of many caring individuals that have so generously given their time, talent and treasure, we are now journeying from “hope to a cure”. Together with more than fifty local & national Business Partners we raised over $15,000.00 from the Silent & Live Auctions for MLD Research. Combined with other fundraising activities that evening we raised over $75,000.00. All funds raised from this amazing evening will help establish a future Clinical Trial, conducted through “Bethanys Hope Leukodystrophy Research Laboratory” under the direction of Dr. Stephanie Newman of Western University.

It takes a village, and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” Gala would not be possible without our village of so many! We are beyond grateful to our family, Sponsors, Entertainment, very generous Donors, amazing Volunteers and friends. Thank you to the exceptional team at The London Hunt & Country Club, who have gone above and beyond in helping us create such a memorable evening!

We hope you will consider our Sponsors and Donors and their commitment to the MLD children in your day to day business decisions. The would not have been be possible without them….

We are now very much looking forward to a break-out year in Research for 2026/27….

Lindey McIntyre, MSC
