Jim Palmer
Jim Palmer (CMA / CPA) graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, which lead him to obtaining his designation from the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario. Jim has been involved in accounting and financial operations for over three decades, including holding such positons as; Chief Accountant, Controller, Business Analyst and currently Director of Finance. His involvement with Bethanys Hope began in 2005 when he took on the responsibility of Treasurer for the Foundation, a role he still currently holds. Jim’s experience and leadership in the area of financial management has been an asset for the Board of Directors. His stewardship ensures the money raised by the Bethanys Hope Foundation is treated with the highest financial integrity, allowing all available funds to be directed to the Bethanys Hope Leukodystrophy Research Laboratory based at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) – Victoria Campus – in London, Ontario. Jim resides in London with his wife Barbra and their two children.
